What a fantastic stay! The retro vibe was so unique, especially with the antique elevator! I also loved the comfort of the bed and the amazing latte at the coffee spot.

    trendy vintage decor
    accessible common areas
    comfortable atmosphere
    elevator upgrade

The decor of The Dean Hotel exudes a trendy, vintage charm, beautifully reflecting Providence's history, and the common areas were welcoming and accessible and comfortable as a senior.

An elevator upgrade would enhance the experience significantly.

Just a reliable pick for a quick stopover in Providence with definitely value for money. Loved finding a cute birthday note on the bed, a nice touch! If you're into local brews, check out the Narragansett they have on ice.

The chic, vintage decor made me feel like I was in a stylish movie set. The antique elevator was charming, and the comfortable seating areas were perfect for relaxing conversations over coffee.

More lighting in bathrooms would be appreciated.

    big salads
    fresh vibe
    attentive staff
    expensive parking
    limited parking options

The Dean's dining scene is fire! Those big salads at North Restaurant were fresh and packed with flavor, while the vibe at Bolt Coffee was the perfect pick-me-up for my mornings. Plus, the attentive staff were always ready to fill my cup! Talk about a culinary win!

The overnight parking in Providence is a bit of a hassle, and I felt the hotel could've swooped in with some parking perks for guests.

    fantastic location
    nice ambiance
    tricky lift
    firm mattress
    limited dining options

The location is fantastic, with numerous food spots and a great ambiance that channels a 50s-60s vibe. My room was spacious, and the art added a nice touch. Despite the positives, the old-school lift took time to figure out, and I would have preferred a softer mattress for better sleep.

    clean room
    minimalistic design
    comfortable bed
    limited desk space
    small elevator

Chose this spot while visiting Brown University. The location was perfect for us, with plenty of local restaurants nearby. The room was clean and had a lovely minimalistic design that we appreciated. The bed was comfortable for our stay, although the desk space was quite limited for any work I wanted to do during our downtime. The coffee bar downstairs had a nice selection, which was a pleasant bonus in the mornings.

A unique stay with great local recommendations

I had a fantastic time during my one-night stay. The staff was incredibly engaging, providing excellent local dining suggestions that really made my visit special. The quirky decor and vintage elevator added to the hotel's charm, creating a cozy and artistic vibe. However, I wish the shower water temperature was more stable as it required constant adjustment for comfort.

    quirky, quirky, quirky

I absolutely adored the vintage elevator! Riding in that charming, red-accented accordion gate lift was a delightful trip back in time. And let’s talk about Bolt Coffee, their artisanal brews were the best pick-me-up after exploring the unique shops all around.

    Totally recommend! ❤️✨

Stylish room with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. Loved having body soap, shampoo, and towels provided. The hardwood floors added charm. The location is perfect for exploring. Bolt Coffee has delicious pastries every morning, and the bar scene is lively. The karaoke setup at the Boom Box is a fun touch too.

My room was immaculate, with a bed that provided a restful night's sleep, and the shower was a modern delight. The on-site dining options, including Bolt Coffee and North Restaurant, provided convenient access to delicious food and drinks.

    hvac issues

The Dean showcases a fun design and great location with plenty to do nearby. However, the rooms are quite small and lack adequate storage for longer stays. Some noise from outside was a bit distracting, and we had issues with the HVAC system, causing a less than restful night.
